Defense System Engineering, Integration & Test
Why KODA?
KODA was founded on six decades of weapon system development experience – from hands-on engineering to executive leadership. We have been directly responsible for solving complex problems, developing highly technical products, and we delivered time after time. From designing radar systems to leading large-scale flight tests to managing international programs, we have a unique understanding of customer needs, deep domain expertise and proven technical skills. Our senior government decision-maker perspective, understanding of government organizations and experience integrating large multi-disciplinary teams make us distinctly qualified in our field.
Leadership Team
KODA Technologies, Inc was founded in 2017 by Julie Schumacher, a former Engineer, Program Manager and Senior Executive with both the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command and the Missile Defense Agency. David Conrad is a missile defense expert and former Principal Member of the Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. The KODA leadership team brings technical and management expertise, as well as perspectives gained from leading government organizations.
Best Places to Work
On June 16, 2020, KODA was named a “Best Places to Work” GOLD winner at the 2020 Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Best Places to Work Awards Event. Each year the Chamber honors micro, small, medium, large, and extra-large businesses; KODA was in the small business category with 21 other similar-sized companies. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards were given in each of the five categories based on rankings. KODA brought home the GOLD award!
